About Me-- I am a violinist/violist, composer, arranger, and the Music Librarian of the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra. After spending many years playing bad arrangements at string quartet gigs, I decided to take matters in my own hands and write some musically interesting charts. The present collection is the result. I began selling these arrangements through the mail in 1985. As of 2007, over 2000 string ensembles all over the world are playing them, and they have become an indespensable resource for any gigging quartet.

These arrangements are written to be performed by string quartet. Bass parts are available to allow them to be performed by larger string ensembles. Some are more complex and challenging than others, but most can be performed at jobs with minimal rehearsal. A little experimentation will tell you which ones work best in noisy venues and which require quiet.

All of the arrangements are digitally typeset in beautifully legible Finale-engraved format.
Arrangements can be ordered individually, in albums, or as a complete set.

Individual arrangements are $8.00 each. (Includes all four parts).

Albums are $40.00 (Includes all four parts).

The complete set is $350.00 (Postage included within the USA) (Includes all four parts).

Albums are a set of parts bound with plastic comb binders. The complete set includes everything listed on this order form (plus any arrangements I may have done recently) collected into one set.

About the Complete Set:

It is exactly what its name implies: a collection of EVERY string arrangement I have done.
The Complete Set is sent unbound, printed on 'letter-size' paper (8.5" x 11") pre-punched to be inserted into three-ring binders.
This makes the set less costly, and has proven to be convenient for quartets that wish to rearrange the order of the music for use at gigs.

Since European customers have sometimes been unable to obtain 'American' style binders that fit the paper,
I offer a set of 4 binders along with the music for an extra charge of $28.00 ($35.00 if Bass part is included).

I will also include binders for American customers who want them.
Please indicate that you wish to include binders when you place your order. Higher postage costs will apply.
